[Kaohsiung News] In response to recent comments on the online forum PTT regarding issues with the touchscreens on the payment kiosks in the Weiwuying Smart Parking Area and claims that the QR Code online payment could only be used the following day, the Transportation Bureau has instructed the commissioned vendor to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the 69 payment kiosks. All functionalities are operating normally, with only one kiosk temporarily out of service due to a power outage, which has since been fully repaired. Currently, all payment kiosks have fully functional touchscreens, and payment processes could be completed within one minute during testing.

According to the Transportation Bureau, vehicles parked in the Weiwuying Smart Parking Area can pay at on-site payment kiosks or scan the QR Code on the fee notice panel to complete payment through LINE Pay, JKOPay, or EasyWallet.

The Bureau further clarified that all touchscreens on the payment kiosks in the Weiwuying Smart Parking Area are functioning properly, and the QR Code on the fee notice board can be used for online payment on the same day. If there are any payment issues, users can utilize the intercom feature attached to the payment kiosks, with customer service personnel available to provide immediate assistance.
