Traffic Impact Assessment on Buildings and Structures

Updated:114-02-11
Division:資訊室

To mitigate the traffic impact on surrounding neighborhoods following site development, contractors undertaking building projects in Kaohsiung City—where parking spaces, development areas, or building area modifications fall under Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations for Building Traffic Impact Assessment—are required to submit a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) report. These reports are reviewed by the TIA Review Board of Kaohsiung City, under the Transportation Bureau (TBKC), in collaboration with relevant agencies, including the Public Works Bureau (PWBKC), the Kaohsiung City Police Department (KCPD), and the Urban Development Bureau (UDBKC), as well as industry experts and scholars.

From January to August 2021, a total of 11 TIA review meetings were convened, during which 37 TIA reports were assessed.
