Regulations for Charges Fees for Traffic Accident Adjudication and Reconsideration of Adjudication

| Article 1 | These Regulations are established to optimize the adjudication system, enhance the adjudication quality, and comply with the pay for use principle. |
| Article 2 | The Transportation Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government shall be the competent authority of these Regulations. |
| Article 3 | Traffic accident adjudication and reconsideration of adjudication shall be charged as follows. However, adjudication and reconsideration of adjudication for traffic accidents with fatalities (criminal cases) referred by the judicial (military) entities will be free. 1. Adjudication: NT$3,000 each accident. 2. Reconsideration of adjudication: NT$2,000 each accident. |
| Article 4 | The said charges and fees are non-refundable, except under any one of the following circumstances: 1. Amount in excess of the charge or payment not for the service. 2. Accidents rejected for adjudication by law. 3. Applications for adjudication and reconsideration of adjudication are withdrawn before the adjudication and reconsideration of adjudication. 4. The cause(s) of accident is(are) unspecified and no adjudication is possible. 5. Failure to complete adjudication and reconsideration of adjudication by the statutory time limits. |
| Article 5 | Charges and fees collected hereunder shall be paid to the treasury of Kaohsiung City. |
| Article 6 | These Regulations shall be implemented from December 25, 2010. |
