Kaohsiung is the first in the country to implement the QR Code mobile payment riding code function. The general public in this city can board buses with a simple beep using iPass, Easy Wallet or ICash PAY. Since 2021, Kaohsiung City's buses have been equipped with a full suite of amenities, including e-bus GPS tracking systems , overhead displays, ticket inspection machines and in-car station broadcasts,. To ensure the reliability of real-time bus data, the driver only needs to enter the route code before starting duty to finalize all the settings, thereby reducing the driver's workload, decreasing the number of input errors, and ensuring the accuracy of real-time bus information.
