Ridership on Kaohsiung’s MRT reached record highs on the third day of Chinese New Year at 374,000 passengers and in February at 5,840,000 passengers. The company has also achieved financial stability. Kaohsiung MRT’s employees received a pay rise of 2.7% in 2019, following an increase of 2.5% in 2018.
