“Solar Warning Facility” is a new form of traffic warning facility using solar power supply, which replaces complicated electricity service application and construction procedure for setting up traditional traffic signs, and therefore cuts down electricity expenses and construction costs. The facility effectively distributes right-of-way between primary routes (flashing yellow) and secondary routes (flashing red) and improves night visibility which in turn reduces traffic accidents. The Bureau has finished setting up solar warning facilities for intersections at Jishan St. / Wugu St. in Meinong District and in front of No. 109 Tadi Rd. in Mituo District from July 2018 to January 2019.
