The green pavement marked with “pedestrians only” clearly directs pedestrians where to go, separates the areas for pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and efficiently enhances pedestrian safety. As of August 2016, sidewalks were marked at seven locations, including Lijhih Street in Sanmin District, the corner between Linhai 1st Road and Cianguang Road, and Binhai 1st Road in Gushan District.
