On November 9, 2016, the Mayor publicly commended the outstanding professional vehicle drivers of 2016. Out of the 34 drives that were commended, 11 of them are drivers of wheelchair-accessible vehicles. The Mayor thanked the drivers for their devotion in providing transportation services to disabled people and for maintaining a safe traffic environment.
