The Bureau launched the first ever Demand Responsive Transit Service (DRTS) Program in Taiwan. It gained positive feedback from the public, and has received great recognition from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, which declared the program as an exemplary model for the other cities and counties to observe and follow. On April 1, 2016, a delegation of the Bureau of Transportation of Tainan City Government, led by Director-General Chang Chen -yuan, visited Kaohsiung City for observation and interchange.
