The Transportation Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government has launched the first-of-its-kind Shuttle Taxi Real-time Information System in Taiwan. The service received 2019 Smart City Innovative Application Award which was handed out by Vice President Chen Chien-Jen at the opening ceremony of 2019 Smart City Expo. The award was then presented to Mayor Han Kuo-Yu by Director-general of the Transportation Bureau, Cheng Yung-Hsiang, at the Municipal Administrative Meeting.
