To address the shortage of parking spaces in the Fongshan area, the Kaohsiung City Government utilized its own land located at the intersection of Wenhe Street and Caojin Road and coordinated with the National Property Administration to jointly develop an idle plot of state-owned land that has not yet been developed according to plan. The site was transformed into the Yijia Fongshan Parking Lot, providing 21 parking spaces for small vehicles and 16 for motorcycles, thereby alleviating parking demand in the vicinity of the train station.
