The installation of solar-powered flashing beacons is easier and costs less than that of traditional flashing beacons. A flashing yellow light warns drivers of vehicles to slow down while approaching. A flashing red light means “stop before proceeding”, which requires drivers of vehicles to stop before entering an intersection and to yield to vehicles on a main road.
