A piece of river land was obtained from the Water Resources Agency, MOEA, to be developed into a public parking lot on the south side of the Tongling community. This is to improve traffic congestion at Fo Guang Shan Monastery during the Chinese New Year and long weekends. Overall, 1,116 parking spaces for small cars have been planned.
